From the beginning of our artistic careers, my fellow artists and I have observed the changes in arts particularly in painting. However, painting is inherent art, conveyed by genes capability to describe the world by colours and forms. Not only beautiful but also a difficult form of art because painting, like music and literature, is always challenging and demanding. It is not "mechanical reproduction in emptiness" nor repetition of visions created in the past but based on powerful and enticing imagination, requires profound education in every respect.
Even there are better and worse periods for artistic activities, each generation utters some talented and brave individuals that bring new trends to the old like a human race art. Painting is just for a handful of people who in that unique language try to communicate. I do not agree with some "wise men" who predict a fall of painting because I believe there will be always a group of gifted for whom painting and seeing paintings is one of the most essential parts of their lives.
The new trends in arts which oscillate at the edge of theatre, display and film and tend to combine all these in one are interesting, maybe inspiring but it cannot be called painting, because painting with all its old and new discoveries has its own independent way of creative communication even between the artists of opposite views. So let it be!
